At least a dozen countries plan to acquire the Russian super mobile artillery installation "Samum". This is stated in the message of Rosoboronexport.
Mobile artillery system "Samum" of Russian production turned out to be popular with customers from more than ten countries.
Recall anti-aircraft installation "Samum" is designed to protect objects from the attacks of tactical fighters, attack aircraft, helicopters and some types of UAVs operating at low and extremely low altitudes. The equipment of the installation provides shelling of air and ground targets in automatic, semi-automatic and manual modes.
Since the beginning of this decade, 200 units have been exported. For the future, a contract has already been signed for the supply of 20 Samumov.
According to experts, there are two versions of "Samum": artillery and artillery-rocket. The first hits air targets at an altitude of one and a half kilometers and a maximum range of 2.5 km. The second at an altitude of 3.5 km and a distance of 6 km.
