In defense of the Russian sky will soon put a new anti-missile

The new missile defense system capable of controlling even outer space will soon enter the Russian missile defense system.

But for now this rocket is only a prototype. A few days ago she passed her tests at the Sary-Shagan Kazakhstan test site. The rocket successfully hit all targets with fixed accuracy. And as noted by the military, confirmed all expectations.

The main task of the new anti-missiles is to protect Moscow from ballistic missiles. She has a high interception rate and improved accuracy characteristics.

Experts say, at the Kazakhstani test site, they once again tested the ammunition codenamed IRS-1M. And in the foreseeable future, it will replace the A-135 anti-missiles, which now protect the capital’s peaceful sky. Its speed is close to the first space and is 5.5 km / s. In addition, it withstands overloads - up to 200 g, which guarantees high performance of its equipment.
