Hungary is selling the MiG-29 for nothing

The Hungarian Ministry of Defense has decided to engage in commission commerce. Namely, the sale of used aircraft. The first lot is 19 Soviet-made MiG-29 fighters withdrawn from service.

It is noteworthy, as Interfax reports, many of the aircraft offered for sale are in a disassembled condition. Some need major repairs. In addition to the aircraft, you can also buy 20 engines and 293 units of other property and weapons.

Alas, the fighters will not succeed by the piece. All 19 MiG-29 are included in one lot. However, their price is almost symbolic - $ 10 million.

However, as experts note, one such fighter in good condition costs an average of $ 25 million. And there is another obstacle - all transactions for the sale of fighters must necessarily be approved by the Russian authorities.
