The development of a promising long-range aviation complex begins in Russia. The process of its development work will take from 5 to 7 years.
According to the forecasts of the leaders of the Russian arms concerns, the serial release of the new PAK DA will begin in 2025. By this time, under its serial production, the production line of the Kazan Aviation Plant will be modernized.
According to experts, the new promising long-range aviation complex will replace all strategic and long-range missile carrier bombers in the Russian aerospace forces: Tu-22M3, Tu-160 and Tu-95MS. It is expected that the new combat aircraft will be subsonic, which will make it more economical and increase the range. In addition, the main armament of the new PAK DA will be high-precision cruise missiles with a range of up to 5,000 kilometers.
