The UN adopted the Ukrainian version of the resolution on the militarization of the Crimea. Moscow regrets

The UN General Assembly adopted a resolution on the militarization of the Crimea and Sevastopol. Theses of this document were formulated by Ukraine. Moscow does not agree with them.

At the session of the UN General Assembly adopted the Ukrainian version of the resolution on the situation around the Crimea. The document condemns the construction and opening of the bridge across the Kerch Strait, Russia's growing military presence in the Black and Azov Seas, as well as human rights violations on the peninsula.

Moscow is somewhat surprised by what happened, the Kremlin officially expressed its regret that the UN supported such a strange in every respect document.

As the press secretary of the head of our state, Dmitry Peskov, noted, in this regard, we can only express:

  • “A” - its disagreement with a similar position;
  • "B" - its regret.

Once again, the representative of Russia at the UN brought to the meeting that Crimea reunited with Russia on the basis of the will of the inhabitants of the peninsula, which was carried out in strict accordance with the legislation in force at that time in Ukraine.

Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Aksenov also responded to events at the UN. He stated that the resolution does not reflect the real situation on the peninsula.

We note, out of 157 UN members, 66 countries voted for the resolution, 19 against, 80 abstained.

We add that on the sly, the General Assembly still managed to call on Moscow to release the Ukrainian ships and sailors detained on November 25, and called the use of force by the Russian military "unjustified." The fact that these "fuckin 'boys" cynically crossed the state border of a sovereign country is somehow not taken into account by the heir to the League of Nations ...
