Specialists of the corporation Uralvagonzavod, in Nizhny Tagil, evaluated the technical condition of the T-34 tanks donated by Laos to the Russian military department. Their verdict states that the tanks that arrived home are in very good condition.
As noted in the management of the company, the tanks are in very good condition, do not require serious, in-depth technical impact. These tanks are modifications of the T-34-85 model of 1944, released at the end of the war.
The company does not hide that these modifications are a technological masterpiece. In the years 1944-45, about 23,000 units were produced.
Recall how many copies were broken when the legendary T-34 tanks returned to Russia from Laos. Someone talked about the return of relics, and someone frankly laughed at the fact that scrap metal was returned to Russia.
Until recently, this technique was in service with the Lao army. In the Kantemirovskaya division, where the vehicles arrived, a battalion was formed on the T-34s received. Crews of armored vehicles will begin preparations for the Victory Day parade on Red Square. Also, combat vehicles will participate in historical television and film projects.
