The history of the enterprise
The decision on the Federal State Unitary Enterprise "Main Special Communication Center" was made in August 1939, only then it was not called that way.
Today, the Main Center is the leader in the field of escorting special correspondence, as well as dangerous cargo transportation throughout Russian territory and neighboring countries.
FSUE GCSS has a developed branch network, in which there are more than seventy directorates, as well as more than one hundred and eighty branches with reception points in the entire state. Transportation of correspondence and goods is carried out by FSUE GSSS using its own transport. Among them are armored special vehicles with the maintenance of a certain temperature regime. Currently, there are more than one thousand two hundred special routes serviced by the FSUE GSSS.

Special Service Emblem
FSUE GCSS has its own emblem. In the Federal State Unitary Enterprise GSSS, it was approved by order of the State Committee of the Russian Federation for Communications and Telecommunications in July 1999. The emblem is presented in the form of an image of a falcon, in which the outstretched wings of silvery coloring. In addition, the bird has a shield of white-blue-red color on the sternum. The shield has an image of a silver sword, which is located with the tip down. Directly under the shield itself there is a ribbon of blue color, and on it there is an inscription in white letters “Special Communication of Russia”.
Presence of own flag and anthem at FSUE GSSS
FSUE GCSS has its own anthem and flag. The flag was approved by the Director General of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise Main Special Communication Center in 1999. The flag is presented in the form of a rectangular double-sided cloth of blue color. In the upper part, the Russian State flag is depicted, and in the area of the lower right corner is the color emblem of Spetssvyaz. The reverse side of the banner accurately reproduces its front side through a mirror image.
Employees' uniforms and uniforms
Employees are assigned ranks in accordance with their positions. This takes into account the observance of the division of staff of specialists in compositions that resemble general military.
