India wanted "Contests" in unlimited quantities.

India, for the needs of its land forces, has concluded a contract with Russia for the licensed production of Konkurs-M anti-tank complexes and missiles for them. According to TSAMTO, how many complexes are planned to be produced is not specified. However, the amount of the transaction is 108 million dollars.

The press service of the company BDL noted that the missiles and launchers will be made in the state of Telangag with constant technical cooperation with the Russian side.

According to experts, the need of the Indian army is about 2,000 anti-tank launchers and about 68,000 anti-tank guided missiles. They will be armed with 360 infantry and 44 motorized infantry battalions.

Recall, currently produced at BDL facilities, the Konkurs-M version is a 9K111-1M complex with an anti-tank missile with 9M113 wired guidance and a 9P135M-1 launcher.

By the way, the Russian contests will replace the Israeli Spike ATGMs, which, to be fair, I have not been delivered to India.
