Will Russia threaten everyone from under the ice?

Whatever you may say, the Russian military-industrial complex is the most creative in the world. Over the years, the word "Sarma" meant a domestic furniture-mattress brand (by the way, Sarma is a type of wind on Baikal), until the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation thought about creating a drone submarine under this name.

As recently as the Lazurit Central Design Bureau, located in Nizhny Novgorod, the development of an underwater drone, designed for a long journey under the ice of the northern seas, was launched. This project received the sonorous name "Sarma".

According to RIA "Novosti", three demos of an unmanned submarine will be ready by 2020. The first tests are planned on the Black Sea. The drone will overcome the route from Sevastopol to Sochi. Then, in the period of 22-23 years, the drone will pass under the ice by the Northern Sea Route, which is approximately 10,000 kilometers.

According to experts, the main feature of "Sarma" - its engine. The military developments of the countries of the world have already helped to create quite a few ultra-long vessels using nuclear engines. Domestic drone will be radically different. The inventors took care of the environment. The heart of the "Sarma" will be an anaerobic power plant. So it will be more economical and environmentally friendly, say the developers.

One of the most important goals of the underwater drone is seismic exploration. However, a number of experts from overseas are cautiously looking at Russian underwater development. There are voices that such drones equipped with nuclear warheads can sneak up on the shores of Alaska and hit the entire perimeter of the state coastline ...

Interestingly, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation has already considered this version of the use of "Sarma"? ...
