Russia added sanctions to Ukraine

Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev recently signed another package of counter-sanctions against Ukraine. He announced this on his Twitter page.

As the Russian Prime Minister noted, this was done to protect the interests of the Russian state, companies and citizens of Russia. The sanctions list has been extended to more than 200 individuals and organizations operating in Ukraine.

Recall, October 22, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on the use of special economic measures against Ukraine. The decision was made in connection with unfriendly actions of Kiev. The ministers were instructed to draw up a sanction list. As a result, 322 Ukrainian citizens and 68 companies were included in it.

This was a response to the August Ukrainian sanctions in connection with the construction of the Crimean Bridge. Kiev's sanctions affected 19 legal entities involved in the construction of the bridge.
