The head of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation (FSVTS), Dmitry Shugaev, announced the volume of supplies of Russian weapons outside the country: it amounted to $ 15 billion. Russia has been selling weapons for this amount for the third consecutive year.
More than half of the weapons delivered outside the country are accounted for by aircraft.
In order to minimize the consequences of the sanctions imposed against our state, the Federal Service for Military and Technical Cooperation seeks to transfer payments for military equipment supplied in national currencies.
Mr. Shugaev said that dedollarization is not only about the organization he heads. This is a nationwide problem. After all, the dollar has lost the status of a reliable currency, and the way out of this situation is to switch to settlements in national currencies.
Meanwhile, there are other forms of mutual settlements, for example, barter. There are other financial instruments.
Anti-missile defense systems and armored vehicles are in high demand with foreign consumers of Russian weapons.
