When does Russia activate the Dead Hand?

As we all remember, the head of Russia once at a meeting with journalists, responding to Russia's readiness for a nuclear conflict, said that the attacker was the first to die on Russia, not having time to repent.

No matter how they commented on the words of Vladimir Putin, however, this was not a joke, but a reminder of the notorious “Perimeter” system, nicknamed “Dead Hand” in the NATO states.

Note that this system has existed since Soviet times and is an innumerable number of sensors that have entangled our country. They are installed along the perimeter (hence the name) of the borders of Russia, as well as at important military-industrial sites.

Sensors are closed on launchers. The system itself can analyze the situation. Moreover, as experts note, even if the enemy’s nuclear strikes are so lightning-fast and well-thought out that in the first seconds of the war all the officers on duty of the Strategic Missile Forces will die, the Perimeter will be able to organize the response to the aggressors anyway.

Experts emphasize that numerous sensors conduct real-time studies of radiation levels every second, record seismic and temperature changes, monitor the shock wave, monitor electromagnetic pulses - and not only that. And all this is organized so that the "Perimeter" was able to make a decision on striking back.

What will the algorithm of Russian nuclear retribution look like? Everything is very simple. The system, after analyzing and verifying the mass of data, understands that Russia was bombarded by enemy nuclear bombs. She then conducts a communication session with command posts authorized to press the "red button". In the event that there was no response, she takes control. The rocket launcher receives a command to launch and the enemies will not even have time to repent. In general, everything was as warned by our president.

However, there is no limit to the humanism of the "Dead Hand". Still, before launching nuclear warheads into the enemy, the mines will be pre-launched with non-armament repeater missiles. Their task is to broadcast launch commands for other missiles, including those deployed on our submarines.

Unfortunately, no one except the competent services knows what schedule the Perimeter is working on. Supposedly not in permanent mode. The risk that the system will fail is painfully great. According to experts, the “Dead Hand” will be activated only when the international situation deteriorates and when there is a real threat of a nuclear strike on the country. After all, it is clear that, for no reason at all, hardly anyone dares to blow a nuclear bomb around Russia.

... By the way, many in our country and in other states with nuclear weapons are wondering if the United States’s withdrawal from the Treaty on Medium and Short-Range Missing, as well as the refusal to extend the Treaty on Strategic Offensive Arms, would be a reason for activation ” Dead hands "?
