The military space forces of Russia received three military satellites of the new generation. At the moment they are already in Earth orbit.
As noted in the message of the Ministry of Defense of Russia, all three satellites successfully launched into Earth orbit at an altitude of about one and a half thousand kilometers. This was achieved thanks to the Breeze acceleration block. A stable telemetric connection has already been established with the satellites. Onboard systems are working normally. What is their purpose in the message does not say.
Military satellites were launched this morning by the Rokot carrier rocket, designed to work with light-class spacecraft, beyond the limits of gravity of the planet. The launch was made from the Plesetsk cosmodrome.
Recall rocket "Rokot" refers to the category of "Stiletto" according to NATO classification. For the first time she flew over the planet back in 1990. The rocket can put into orbital space more than 2000 kilograms of payload.
