England has created a safe military drone

In the UK, developed drones Protector RG Mk1, which will be allowed to operate in "civilian" airspace.

According to British media reports, the United Kingdom Air Force ordered General Atomics Aeronautical Systems to equip the drones with airborne collision avoidance systems.

As experts explain, modern medium-height drones can operate only in special air corridors or areas closed for flight of civil aircraft. Thanks to a special system of avoiding collisions in the air, British drones Protector RG Mk1 will be the first drones in its class that can operate in a single airspace along with civil aviation.

Initially it is planned to adopt 16 drones, which will replace the existing 10 units of MQ-9 Reaper. At the same time, the British Ministry of Defense is considering the possibility of increasing the order to 26 “Defenders”.
