In 2019, the first motorcycles on electric run, made in the Kalashnikov concern, will arrive in the military traffic police units (VAI) controlling the territory of Moscow. Russian electric motorcycles are called "IL Pulsar".
The first consignment will consist of four products, another 16 motorcycles will be purchased and transferred to the units of the All-Ukrainian Automobile Association until the end of this year.
As noted in the military department, the inspectors of the IAI, having such equipment at their disposal, will be able to promptly react to traffic accidents in the city and monitor the observance of traffic rules by military vehicles.
In the near future it is planned to create motorcycle offices in 16 units of the VAI, said the Russian military. They will be located at the locations of the headquarters of military districts and fleets. In addition, they will be located in cities of over one million. That is, where there is a high density of movement.
Concern "Kalashnikov" for the first time presented electric motorcycles in August 2017 during the exhibition "Army - 2017".
Some tactical and technical data
The IZh Pulsar electric motorcycle reaches a top speed of up to 100 km / h, the product’s range on a highway is up to 150 km. The motorcycle is equipped with a brushless motor that runs on direct current. Its power is 15 kW, while working it consumes 10 kW / hour.
Using "IL-Pulsar" allows you to save on fuel. On average, one kilometer of traffic on it costs 10 - 15 times cheaper than on cars with petrol power plants.
Full charging of electric motor batteries costs 50 rubles. Standard servicing of a regular motorcycle includes only oil and filter changes. On the electric there is neither one nor the other.
Motorcycle of this brand can be called environmentally safe. When moving, it does not emit exhaust gases. it is permissible to apply in suburban and park areas, including in pedestrian spaces. That is, in those places where it is unacceptable to operate motorcycles with internal combustion engines. Moreover, in accordance with the requirements of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe, the noise level of a Russian electric motorcycle is less than 75 dB, which is less than acceptable values.
