The Tu-214PU is the first of the three aircraft ordered by the Russian government for the Special Flight Team "Russia" as early as December 2016. To date, the “Russia” Aerospace Defense Organization already has 14 Tu-214 aircraft of various modifications and four Tu-204 aircraft.
Raised into the air on December 28, 2018, the aircraft with the serial number 44811031 became the first Tu-214 aircraft built on the KAZ in 2018. Thus, to date, 31 Tu-214 aircraft have been built at the Kazan Aviation Plant, and the total number of vehicles of the Tu-204 / Tu-214 family built in the USSR and Russia since 1989, together with prototypes, was 85 units.
