The People’s Republic of China will enter a state of war with the United States of America over the next 15 years. This statement was made on the margins of the international security forum held in Warsaw by the former commander of US forces in Europe, Lieutenant General Ben Hodges.
Given this circumstance, the former commander suggested to the American allies in the NATO North Atlantic bloc to make maximum efforts to ensure their own security "in the face of the looming threat from Russia", while the United States will focus on neutralizing the potential danger in the Asia-Pacific region.
"I believe that in the next 15 years, with a fairly high degree of probability, the United States will be at war with China. It cannot be said that this is inevitable, but there are prerequisites for this. The United States does not have the capacity to simultaneously contain Russia in Europe and China in the Pacific, "said a former American general who commanded the US armed forces from 2014 to 2017.
