In Russia, released "boa" for civilian needs

On the basis of TsNIITOCHMASH state corporation "Rostec" will develop a civilian version of the gun "boa". First of all, it will be very relevant for professional shooters. The next step is the export version of the gun of this brand.

Recall, autoloading pistol "Boa" caliber 9 mm - completely domestic development. Moreover, it is assembled exclusively from Russian components. "Boa" the other day passed successful tests and recommended for adoption.

"Boa" will be made in three versions: for the troops, special units and the civilian market. The civilian version will be focused on the requirements of professional athletes, shooters. In terms of their performance characteristics, the Udav will successfully compete with short-barreled weapons produced by such well-known companies as Colt, Walther, Heckler & Koch, Glock, Browning, CZ.

According to the developers, "Boa" will meet the high requirements that professional arrows impose on short-barreled weapons. Through the use of modern composite materials, it maintains performance in the temperature range from -50 to +70 degrees Celsius. The gun is equally convenient for left-handers and right-handers, and the design provides the ability to visually and tactilely determine the presence of a cartridge in the chamber.

Experts predict that the "Boa" in the foreseeable future should replace the "Makarova" in service with the police and the Rosguard.
