The anti-sabotage boat of the Rook series became part of the Primorye flotilla of the diverse forces of the Pacific Fleet of the Russian Federation. This is the seventh boat in the series. The first boats were launched in 2009 and replenished the Northern Fleet.
Recall, project 21980 “Rook” is a new series of high-speed, maneuverable and multi-purpose boats. Boats can detect objects in the water column at distances of 300 meters, carry out surveys of the bottom at depths of up to 200 meters with sea state of up to three points and speeds of up to eight knots.
