"Adjutant" will teach air defense to fight off a swarm of drones

At the Izhevsk Electromechanical Plant "Kupol", part of the military concern "Almaz-Antey", they developed a target complex imitating a swarm of UAVs. The name of the complex was "Adjutant".

A feature of the “Adjutant” is that, under control from one ground control station, two operators can simultaneously lift up to six air targets into the air and control them in a single field. This creates a swarm of targets consisting of various types of drones.

Using unmanned aerial vehicles of various types, it is possible to create an air situation as close as possible to the combat one.

Initially, the complex was created to provide training and combat firing anti-aircraft missile systems "Thor", but in the process of developing engineers "Dome" found a wider use of "Adjutant."
