The Ministry of Defense of the Government of Israel has released a video of a recent test of the Remote Weapon Control Station (RCWS) for Namer and Eitan infantry fighting vehicles.
The Israel Defense Ministry released a video showing the anti-tank capabilities of the Namer infantry combat vehicle equipped with an unmanned turret with a 30-mm cannon and modern Spike-MR anti-tank missiles.
A spokesman for the Ministry of Defense said that the installation "would allow soldiers of the Israeli Defense Forces to fire rockets from inside vehicles, while being protected."
According to the Israeli Ministry of Defense report, Spike anti-tank missiles currently serve as the main anti-tank weapon system for 30 countries around the world, and today more than 30,000 missiles have been delivered. "Spike" is a rocket with electro-optical guidance, operating according to the schemes "Shot and forgot" and "Shot and watch."
It is also noted that an automatic launcher with Spike anti-tank missiles will be installed on the tower of the Eitan wheeled armored combat vehicle.
New Israeli infantry fighting vehicles will be equipped with Trophy's active defense system and other specialized defense systems.
Trophy is a completely autonomous system of hard destruction, designed to neutralize all types of current and future threats, including anti-tank guided missiles, all types of grenade launchers, and all types of recoilless rifle ammunition.
