Well, how cold?

Not so long ago, the head of the army trade union, Roger Ussen, made a statement that the 270 military who are involved in the NATO mission in Estonia are afraid of frostbite due to the lack of winter uniforms. According to him, this mission was planned for him a year ago, but nevertheless, the military could not get the necessary winter outfits. It is noteworthy that the military was given out balaclavas made in the last century, the boot covers do not fit the shoes, there is no required number of protective glasses.

Meanwhile, the Belgians are seriously worried that the air temperature may drop to -30 degrees Celsius.

The command of the Armed Forces of Belgium ensured that the cargo with the necessary winter equipment would be delivered to Estonia as soon as possible.
