In the Airborne Forces, the Arbalet training complex, designed specifically for this purpose, will be used to train specialists in jumping from a great height. The first set of cadets will be 200 soldiers. At this complex will be trained jumping from a height of 8 km.
It is assumed that by the end of the year, about 2000 paratroopers will be trained, who will use special-purpose parachutes “Crossbow”, intended for special purpose units. Training will be carried out on the basis of a special parachute training center in Ryazan.
During training, paratroopers will be able to perform at least 10 thousand jumps from heights up to 8 km.
To speed up the training, a training complex equipped with aerodynamic simulators will be used.
It is these simulators that will allow the paratrooper to reach the required training class, during the training he will perform 50 jumps from different heights, using a special-purpose parachute. Not so long ago, in order to achieve this level of training, the paratrooper needed to perform about 200 jumps, and the altitude specialist had to perform a thousand jumps.
