- The TKR Admiral of the Fleet of the Soviet Union Kuznetsov under project 1143 will be modernized. It will dismantle 3M45 P-700 Granit launchers, which will increase the hangar to 4,500-5,000 m² for additional aircraft. Air defense combat systems will be enhanced by the newest medium-range anti-aircraft missiles. Will also be installed ZRPK "Pantsir-S1". The ship will become a platform for 26 fighters of the model MiG-29K. In addition, the Navy intends to extend the life of the Su-33 until 2025. In addition, the aircraft-carrying cruiser will be equipped with helicopters and fifth-generation fighters of the PAK FA T-50 naval series. 15-20 of these fighters should be built before the launch of the aircraft carrier - which will take place closer to 2020.

The newest patrol ship "Vasily Bykov"
In February 2014, the lead ship under the project 22160 was laid down at Zelenodolsk Shipyard. The project was developed by the Northern Design Bureau. Until 2019, the fleet should receive 12 ships of this series. The new ship is designed to patrol the economic zone in the closed and open seas, protect territorial waters, suppress pirate and smuggling activities, for environmental monitoring, search for victims of sea disasters.
In addition, the ships are assigned the task of guarding ships, warning of an enemy attack in wartime. The ship belongs to a new generation, it uses a modular principle, so that it can be quickly converted to the tasks:
- it can be used as a patrol ship;
- as a rescue ship;
- as a medical support ship.
The lead ship on the project 22160 was named after Rear Admiral V.I. Bykov, Hero of the Soviet Union.
Mistral-type helicopter landing ship dock
The universal amphibious assault helicopter carrier has been developed in France since 1997. The purpose of the ship is to provide helicopter flights, landing military units, a hospital ship, a command center for operations of various forces. In 2010, the Russian fleet and the French company DCNS concluded an agreement according to which France will transfer to Russia all the technologies used in the project that will interest Russia in the sale of ships. The signing of the final contract was made in June 2011.
According to the contract, two helicopter carriers should be built in Russia and two in France. The Baltic Shipyard ordered the construction of some parts of the hulls of the two ships for the French side. The project provided for the modification of helicopter carriers for the placement of aircraft, the adaptation of the flight deck and the entire ship for winter operation, the Russification of user interfaces.
The first two helicopter carriers, built in 2014 in France, were to be transferred to Russia until 2018. However, this did not happen due to the difficult international situation and the imposition of sanctions. However, in 2018, the situation with helicopter carriers was resolved.
Promising aircraft carrier project KGNTS IMDS-2013
A promising aircraft carrier, the military has long been waiting to be commissioned - the ship’s design was started back in 2005. It was planned to start building the ship after 2010. The design was carried out by the Central Research Institute of them. Academician Krylov together with Nevsky PKB. It was stated that 2018-2019. aircraft carrier will take place in the Northern Fleet. The construction was supposed to be carried out in the city of Severodvinsk at PO Sevmash.
However, TTZ was constantly changing during the design process. In 2009, it was announced the creation of "marine aviation complexes". Various versions of the construction of ships were voiced: it was planned to build 4 aircraft carriers until 2020, but then this statement was denied. Nevertheless, since the summer of 2013, various models of the exhibitions began to show models of a promising aircraft carrier. Nevsky PKB and Krylov State Research Center presented their ship options. At the same time, the Neva PKB led the development of three projects of aircraft carriers with a displacement from 50 to 85 thousand tons.
In February 2014, Sergey Vlasov, general director of Nevsky PKB, announced the existence of three projects. According to him, the price of a light aircraft carrier will reach 100-130 billion rubles, a heavy aircraft carrier - 200-280 billion. The creation of the ships allotted about 10 years.
The main features of the future aircraft carrier will be as follows:
- displacement of about 80,000 tons;
- 4 catapults and two springboards;
- 4 lifts;
- 4 SAMs of the type "Polyment-Redut";
- air wing - at least 40 vehicles of the PAK FA T-50 model of the naval series, as well as combat naval helicopters Ka-52K;
- The radar complex, which will be similar to the Mars-Passat complex with PAR, the possibility of tracking at least 130 airborne targets, the Podberezovik MR-650 radar, as well as other types of radar.
Promising destroyer "Leader"
The project of a promising destroyer for the ocean zone has been developing the Northern PKB since 2012. Elaboration of options has actually been conducted since the late 1980s, under varying tactical and technical requirements and under different project numbers. Scientific support of the project is carried out by the Central Research Institute of them. Krylov. In 2013, for the development of a new destroyer, a competition was announced for the implementation of R & D “Leader”. In 2014, the ROC was carried out, the construction of the lead ship itself is scheduled for 2018.
In early 2018, the development of a draft destroyer model continued. In February 2018, the commander-in-chief of the Navy confirmed the design work on the creation of a destroyer with a nuclear installation. The laying of the ship is likely to take place according to plan - approximately in 2018, however, serial construction will begin only by 2019-2020, which is due to current financial trends, as well as the unavailability of weapons systems and equipment of the future ship.
The exact technical and combat parameters of the prospective destroyer are not disclosed. However, there is evidence that he will receive:
- Several launchers "Caliber" with the latest anti-ship missiles "Onyx" and "Caliber-NK", the range of which is more than 300 km
- Anti-aircraft missiles can be represented by the newest ship version of the S-500, which has two launchers. It will provide long-range missile defense.
- The near-air defense zone will be represented by the Polimen-Redut complexes. They will be controlled by the "Polyment" system with radar with AFAR
- On the military ships can be installed ship versions ZRPK "Pantsir-M"
- Will receive the "Leaders" and artillery universal installation A-192, having a caliber of 130 mm
- A prospective Russian destroyer is also planned to be equipped with two torpedo six-tube units SM-588 of the Package-NK complex of 324 mm caliber
- The warship will also receive a landing pad with a special hangar for Ka-32 or Ka-27 deck helicopters.
The Leader’s new armament will be partially “run-in” on the newest naval ships, in particular, it will be military frigates of project 22350. The need for fine-tuning and testing of this weapon may affect the construction time of the new Leader.
Project 11356P patrol ships for the far sea zone
Due to delays in the construction of the frigates of the project 22350, the Russian leadership decided to build several frigates of the project 11356R at the Yantar shipyard in Kaliningrad. The Russian Navy ordered six ships of this type. At the moment, the project 11356R is the most massive series of large warships, quickly put into operation.
The first serial military frigate "Admiral Essen" entered the Black Sea Fleet in 2014. Then it will be the turn of the frigates Admiral Makarov, Admiral Butakov and Admiral Istomin. The newest ships will be staffed exclusively by sailors of the contract service.
