In May last year, such rumors first appeared on the Internet. The Ministry of Defense quickly denied them. However, today a statement has been received that a large-scale preparation is underway for the creation of new forces of Russia - the Aerospace Forces or the VKS.
According to our source, all decisions have already been made and a rather large-scale preparation is underway. In the near future this will be announced officially. However, the process of creating new forces may take several years.
As we have learned, aviation, air defense forces, information systems, as well as other means closely connected with aerospace space will form part of the VKS. At the same time, the Air Force will lose their status. And in fact, we will have the forces of the ground forces, the Navy and the VKS.
Of course, the creation of a new division will take place in stages. Moreover, the first years the emphasis will be placed on the standardization and unification of all control systems, including information and shock systems.
According to the data obtained, it is planned to create and develop several specific areas. First, the new intelligence system. Secondly, the warning system of the aerospace attack. And thirdly, the system of suppression and destruction of enemy forces. And of course, the main issue will be a unified system of management and support of video conferencing.
