In the village of Komsomolets near Yeysk, a promising TR-301TV aircraft belonging to small aircraft is being tested. It is intended to replace the An-2 developed during the Soviet era.
For testing, experts have completely sorted out an experienced aircraft. This is necessary in order to achieve maximum reliability.
Test tester Yury Kabanov, who conducted the tests, noted the brilliant flight parameters of the TR-301TV. The aircraft behaves steadily with a strong roll and is able to maintain stability in any flight situations. This aircraft is a more technological, improved version of the "corncob". The perspective model is made on the basis of the An-2, but at the same time it has some features.
Some differences from An-2
For example, the lower plane is excluded from the aircraft design. Instead, support legs are installed that support the upper plane. Measures were taken to reduce aerodynamic drag. The bow of the product is pointed, and this significantly reduces the drag that arises from the incoming air flow.
The Soviet An-2 aircraft was in mass production for about 60 years, and the manufacturers of the new model are required to achieve at least the same reliability.
Today, the fleet of small aircraft is 1.5 thousand cars of the brand An-2. Of these, only 300 are in working condition. That is, our country has long needed such an aircraft.
The new car also received a number of serious advantages, including an economic one. At the expense of reducing the mass of the aircraft and the use of a modern power plant, one flight hour will be cheaper by almost two times than at the An-2.
Currently, the aircraft is at the design stage, but has already attracted the interest of foreign airlines and aircraft manufacturers, in particular, American ones. Moreover, a contract has already been signed for the supply of these aircraft to the United States.
