Russian Helicopters (Rostec State Corporation) conducted demonstration flights of the Russian helicopter Mi-171 to the PRC. The leadership of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of China remains admired.
The flight demonstration took place in the city of Lijiang. The helicopter as part of the program made an act of fire-fighting and transported cargo at an altitude of more than three km.
We emphasize that during the flight show, the aircraft technician was able to transfer 3 tons of cargo and 9 passengers from an altitude of 2600 m to an altitude of 3300 m, carried out 3.5 tons of water into the overflow device at an altitude of 3000 m above sea level and then dumped on the fire.
According to experts, the Mi-171 helicopter with VK-2500-03 engines was able to best demonstrate its key advantages - high thrust-to-weight ratio and operational safety in the mountains.
