In Viet Cong (Laos) a military parade was held with the participation of new equipment from Russia. The Ministry of War of the Republic of Laos presented to the public the modernized reconnaissance vehicles BRDM-2. This technique was held in the parade at festive events dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Lao People's Army.
The technology was handed over to the republic of Russia during the implementation of the program of military-technical cooperation between our countries.

It was noted earlier that during the last parade, along with the modernized reconnaissance vehicles, the T72 B1 “White Eagle” tanks also passed through the streets of the capital, following the other equipment supplied from Russia and the USSR - PT-76, T-54B.
During the parade, the Lao armed forces showed other samples of military equipment and weapons obtained in China.
