Polish Armed Forces will receive four sets of Mini FlyEye UAVs

The weapons inspection at the Ministry of National Defense of Poland has signed a contract for the supply of four sets of unmanned aerial vehicles Mini FlyEye (UAV) with a training package.

The agreement provides an option for the further supply of ten sets. One set consists of four unmanned aerial vehicles, the cost of the contract is $ 3 million.

FlyEye is a mini unmanned aerial system (UAS) that is used for reconnaissance, surveillance, and target acquisition (ISTAR) on the battlefield, national borders, natural disasters, or major public events.

FlyEye is a modular system characterized by ease of assembly and disassembly. Ready to launch can be achieved in less than 10 minutes. Manual start without additional equipment allows to operate it in hard-to-reach places and in enclosed spaces. Light precision weapons and acoustic vector sensor can be integrated into a UAV to detect a source of fire.
