The second launch of the A-8 “Khivus” hovercraft launched the other day at the state border guard in the north of the Crimea peninsula in the waters of the Perekopsky and Karkinitsky bays.
As noted in the border service of the Crimea, the boat can perform the tasks of pursuing and apprehending the trespassers on the water and on the shore. It has all the necessary navigation equipment that allows you to perform tasks at any time of the day or night, during any weather conditions, including difficult, during a storm.
The new boat will allow border guards in case of detection of the intruder on the water guaranteed to hold him. The crew consists of two people, it is also possible to carry on board a border guard numbering up to eight people. The autonomy of the boat allows to serve for up to three days.
