Specialists of the air defense and electronic warfare units of the troops stationed in the Crimea have developed the technology of forcing the landing of UAVs, which have recently become frequent sudden "guests" from the neighboring neighbor.
The technology is a set of methods for accompanying an uninvited unmanned guest, jamming and decoding a drone's control program.
Several UAVs that arrived from Ukraine have already been forced to land in the Crimea. According to air defense experts, the drones obtained in this way are similar in size and characteristics to the Russian drones Orlan-10.
According to experts, landing drones is more important and more valuable than destroying - in terms of obtaining information.
Meanwhile, earlier in the State Duma proposed to allow the security forces to shoot down drones. The goal of the initiative is to streamline legislation, as many issues regarding the use of drones are not yet resolved.
