The leadership of the Russian army was concerned about the security of communications. According to the state secret service, there is confirming evidence that some countries unfriendly to Russia are increasing their ability to carry out cyber attacks. And, of course, that they will deliver their first blow to the information and communication infrastructure.
Recently, the Ministry of Defense of Great Britain publicly declared its readiness to commit a series of cyber attacks in order to disrupt the activities of Russian energy supply networks. Denmark also expressed its determination to join the British initiative.
What is being done in Russia to prevent attacks from cyberspace?
According to the military department, purposeful work to achieve maximum protection of communications is already underway. Developed new techniques with practical experience and intelligence.
In particular, a set of measures for the information and technical protection of sensitive data is being implemented. There is a training of high level specialists in this direction. In addition, measures are being taken to create a secure transmission of information in the systems of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. In addition, systems are being debugged and configured to both prevent the attack and identify its source, as well as eliminate its consequences when attempting to disrupt the activities of the most important objects of the Russian armed forces.
