Great Britain is setting up exploration in the Black Sea

The British reconnaissance ship HMS Echo entered the Black Sea. Officially, this is a multipurpose hydrographic vessel. In practice, a naval reconnaissance unit equipped with multipath echo sounders and sensors to collect various data that may be of interest to the military department of the British Crown.

In the waters of the Black Sea sails scientific ship with advanced intelligence capabilities. Despite the fact that HMS Echo is officially considered to be a multi-purpose hydrographic reconnaissance ship, in fact it is capable of collecting the most valuable intelligence data using multi-path on-board echo sounders - which the Royal Navy cannot but rejoice.

The official version, which was put forward a couple of weeks ago, the Minister of Defense of the United Kingdom, says: the purpose of the presence of Echo in the Black Sea is to ensure the freedom of navigation in the region.

Recall, according to international laws and agreements, warships of states whose shores are not projected onto the Black Sea have the right to be in its water area for a maximum of 21 days, otherwise they will be subject to sanctions.

By the way, in the winter of the coming year, within the framework of the extension of the program for rendering military assistance to Ukraine, a detachment of British soldiers from the British Marine Corps will be sent to the neighboring Slavic country.
