Every person undergoing military service in the ranks of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation a year after it began will be transferred to the reserve. This action is often confused with demobilization, which differs from firing in its size. Demobilization implies a reduction in the number of troops throughout the country. It is the exact opposite of mobilization, which is usually done during the beginning of a military conflict. The transfer to the reserve, in turn, refers only to a single soldier. The people call them demobels, a derivative of the demobilization already mentioned. What is a demobel form?
The form that is put on the retired, otherwise it is also called dembelka, is invented by the soldiers themselves. This is a long-standing army tradition that laid its roots in the days of the Soviet Union. It can either repeat the everyday form, only with the addition of some details, and be completely different from it. Creating a form lies entirely on the shoulders of a soldier, and its design is limited only by his imagination. In recent years, the demok has changed a lot. Previously, it was more traditional, some distinctive elements were added to it, by which one could immediately say that this person was transferred to the reserve. Today you can find dembels in the form, the chevrons of which are edged with white fringe. Some people cling to it with various medals: from the hero of socialist labor to the medal for the capture of Berlin. At the same time, there are several specific rules when creating a demobilization form: all medals and insignia on it must be located in full compliance with the established rules; too much pretentiousness is not welcome, in all you need to know the measure; the whole form should be done neatly.
Different types of troops have their own traditions of sewing a dembel form, but fundamentally the process of its creation is no different. The only difference is in the elements that are attached to the form itself. For the Air Force, these will be medals related specifically to air forces, for the Navy to naval ones, for example, the Order of Nakhimov and so on.
At the same time, sometimes unpleasant incidents occur: the demobee form is simply taken from the conscript for personal reasons of the commander. Such an initiative was never welcomed, but, unfortunately, nothing can be done about it, the order is an order.
Dembel form abroad
It is worth noting that not only in Russia has the tradition of making the demobe's form preserved. On the territory of all countries of the former USSR, with the exception of the Baltic States, tailor de-pullers are made. The process of creation, tailoring the form is no different from ours, the difference is only in the style, due to national traditions. For example, you can make an aglet in the colors of the national flag of your country or a vest in the form of embroidery. All the details, as usual, are limited only by the fantasy of the one leaving for the stock. As in Russia, in the neighboring countries over the past 27 years, the demob form has undergone major changes. This mainly concerns more democratic countries - Ukraine and Belarus. There, conscripts, as well as in Russia, can invent everything that only comes to their mind, within the bounds of decency, of course.
The situation is different in some countries of Central Asia, where in fact the old tough regime has remained. Such pretentiousness is not welcome there, so demob on the fact are the usual improved version of everyday form, with decorated elements sewn on them, without all sorts of fake medals and other trinkets.

Sometimes you just want to know if the demob served exactly in the Armed forces, and not in the sewing troops. Sometimes it reaches the point of absurdity, for example, a conscript puts on a uniform with generals or even marshal's epaulets - an unattainable dream of many officers, to which they go for years, but only a few receive them.
