The Russian Defense Ministry was informed that at the end of December 2019, the new S-350 Vityaz and about 10 Pantsir-S and S-400 complexes would be handed over to the Russian Aerospace Forces.
ZRK S-350E "Vityaz" is installed on the wheeled chassis of high traffic, equipped with a wide-angle radar scanning the surrounding space. The installation kit includes a command post built on the chassis of the vehicle BAZ. As weapons used medium-range missiles, which are used in the C400, as well as short-range missiles. This complex is designed to replace the C300 with B55P missiles.
Not so long ago, Minister S. Shoigu declared that the RF AFU would receive at their disposal two regimental sets of AAMC S400. The ministry recalled that in 2018, the C400 and Pantsir-S kits were shipped to air defense units in the Leningrad and Kaliningrad regions, the Crimea and the Antarctic.
In the past 2018, the Russian air defense system took part in 200 training reflections of air attacks, 20 of them - with the firing of military rockets. In the course of the tasks assigned, 500 missiles were spent.
