Poland threatened Russia with "Anaconda"

As we all know, last year the NATO military exercises Anaconda-18 were held in Poland. Moreover, the exercises were held at the borders of Belarus and Russia. It is noteworthy that, in contrast to the Norse teachings “United Trident 2018”, the Polish practically did not advertise in the media and many things were ignored during them.

The Internet portal “News of the Military Industrial Complex” proposed its version and explained the reasons for such a strange silence loop around Anaconda.

Recall that these were the largest NATO exercises since the end of the cold war. According to official figures, no more than 17,500 servicemen took part in Anaconda. However, the fact that more than 4,000 officers were involved in the exercises suggests that the actual number of troops was about one hundred thousand people. In support of this opinion, the fact that 5,000 units of military equipment, 150 airplanes and helicopters, 45 warships were involved in the exercises also confirms. This significantly exceeded the requirements of the declared for participation in contingent maneuvers.

Of course, no one doubted that the "Anaconda" is a demonstration to Moscow of the "power of deterrence". A feature of these exercises, according to the portal, was the training of "multi-domain war." What does this mean? Its main element is the close interaction between different types of troops at the same time in five “domains” - on land, at sea, in the air, in space and in cyberspace.

It is noteworthy that the troops were trained to fight in conditions uncharacteristic for them. For example, the conquest of supremacy by the ground forces at sea, when artillery is being placed on the coastline to destroy the ships of a potential enemy.

But in the main way, as the portal notes, "Anaconda" became a "platform" for coordinating further plans to strengthen the US military presence in the region. The outcome of the exercise was the report of the American think tank Atlantic Council on the need for "permanent deterrence" on the eastern flank of NATO.

However, analysts of the portal express doubt that the US policy in Poland is aimed only at deterring the so-called "Russian aggression".

According to an analysis of how the US is deploying its troops on the territory of Poland (building, for example, the Trump base), and the manner in which exercises and reforms of the Polish army are carried out, there is a suspicion that NATO is preparing not so much to deter the Russian offensive, but is attuned to the attack on the territory of Russia and Belarus.
