Recall the module AU-220M, developed at Nizhny Tagil "Uralvagonzavod" when JSC "Burevestnik Central Research Institute", will become an indispensable weapon for both ground forces and airborne troops, VKS and Navy. This is a kind of interspecies system of 57 mm caliber placement of a unified combat module on land chassis for various purposes, aircraft and ships of the Navy.
For example, a 57 mm armament with a module of advanced and modernized armored combat vehicles allows increasing the firepower of motorized rifle subunits, as well as expanding the prospects of military-technical cooperation of the Russian Federation with foreign states.
Uninhabited combat module is made in the form of a remotely controlled combat system of circular rotation. According to UVZ specialists, there are no armored personnel carriers and infantry fighting vehicles in the world capable of withstanding an AU-220M shot.
