Belarusian researchers presented robotic complexes "Bogomol" and "Centaur"

In Minsk, on the Day of Independence, new robotic complexes “Bogomol” and “Centaur” were presented. These robots, equipped with a variety of weapons, are controlled remotely.

Characteristics "Centaur"

The Internet Resource Defense Blog reports that the Centaur is capable of conducting powerful machine-gun fire on personnel and enemy drones (traveling at speeds of up to 300 km / h) from a kilometer-long distance. It is equipped with a rotary machine gun caliber 7.62 with four barrels. The technique can be used for security measures in standalone mode, as well as for monitoring and surveying the territory.

You can control the "Centaur" at a distance of up to 5 kilometers. For this purpose, the latest optoelectronic technologies are used, which guarantee simple control with high accuracy in detecting and identifying targets. Good indicators of maneuverability and terrain will allow you to perform combat missions in the most unpredictable conditions.

Characteristics of "Mantis"

"Mantis" is designed to destroy heavy equipment and other moving armored objects from a distance of 4 kilometers. Also, the brainchild of Belarusian engineers can fire at helicopters from a distance of up to 5 kilometers. The transfer of information from combat control centers is carried out through special secure communication channels.

Fighting robotic technology

At the moment, robotic machines are rather poorly developed, but different countries are actively engaged in the development and promotion of similar technologies. For example, the Israeli unmanned vehicle Guadium is already used for patrols, guards and escorts.

Russia has a state armament program for 2011–2020, in which much attention is paid to the development of military equipment. The latest robotized whirlwind complex, which is operated by two operators, is already being tested. One is responsible for the movement, and the other for aiming and shooting. The quadcopter which is a part of a complex helps to find the purposes.
