RG-60TB is a Russian-made hand grenade of thermobaric action. Simply put, this is a real pocket bomb of a voluminous explosion. When a grenade is activated, a special mixture is sprayed, which is held in the air in the form of a cloud, after which it is ignited and detonation occurs. Due to the fact that the explosion occurs in volume, a solid explosion power is obtained, corresponding to about 600 grams of TNT, although the mass of the charge in the grenade does not exceed 240 grams.
Actually, the same principle of action is used in aerial bombs, and in flamethrowers of the Bumblebee type, and even in TOS-1 Buratino missiles. In addition, this grenade is universal: it can be used not only for infantry, which is sheltered in buildings and protected structures, but also in open areas. In this embodiment, the effective damage radius is about 7 meters.
