Agni-5: a new takeoff of the Indian nuclear program

In India, an intercontinental ballistic missile called the Agni-5 was tested. It can carry several nuclear warheads. Testing terrible weapons took place on the east coast of the country. Rocket proved to be fine.

Recall that for the first time “Agni-5” showed the world six years ago, in April 2012. Then it was announced about her first test. Over the years, it has been tested five times - and each time successfully. And its launch of December 10, 2018, most likely, will be the last, and the system will be adopted by the Indian army.

It is noteworthy that at the moment India already has the Agni ballistic missiles in service. They can cover a distance of 700 to 3,500 kilometers.

However, India’s nuclear designers decided not to dwell on this. At the moment, in their development appears rocket "Agni-6." It can easily cover a distance of 10,000 kilometers and can be launched from a submarine.
