In 2019, the delivery of Iskander-M OTRK will be completed, as stated in the Russian defense department. It is carried out in line with the state defense order. The manufacturer will supply Iskander-M missile systems to the missile units of the Western Military District.
According to the Ministry of Defense, the package includes about 50 units of military equipment. It includes rocket launchers, charging equipment, command vehicles. In addition, the structure includes technology designed to service missiles.
Some properties
Iskander-M is capable of destroying objects at a distance of up to 500 km. The complex is armed with two types of missiles - ballistic and cruise. OTRK is capable of striking salvo-fire systems, missile defense and air defense systems, aviation equipment deployed on concrete and unpaved airfields, command centers and military infrastructure facilities.
