The French are preparing to destroy the Russian "Armatu"

The French army has equipped its Leclerc tank with a 140-millimeter cannon of increased power and is not going to stop at that. Europeans are very interested in increasing the caliber of weapons of their tanks, in order to be able to knock the Russian "Armat" in the forehead.

The French armory firm Nexter installed a 140-millimeter high-powered cannon on the Leclerc tank. And the other day the re-armed tank passed rifle tests. Russian "Armata" scares Europeans impenetrability of their armor. Therefore, the command of the EU armies is very interested in installing larger-caliber guns on their tanks.

By the way, in France they are not going to seriously oppose Leclerc with the Russian T-14. He received a new gun exclusively in the experiment, in order to check the stability of the machine when fired and after it.

It is expected that the gun will provide an increase in firepower of 70% compared with the standard 120-millimeter cannon, which is equipped with most of the tanks of the armies of NATO countries.

The purpose of this kind of test is to find the optimal balance between speed, safety and the possibility of defeat for the new Franco-German project to create a new main battle tank, which should replace Leopard 2 and Leclerc.

The UK and the USA also joined the anti-arms company.

In October last year, the islanders demonstrated a prototype of the new Black Night tank, which should compete with the Russian T-14. The new British machine will have improved performance required for night combat, and a protection complex will be installed that can recognize and eliminate anti-tank missiles. But this is in perspective. Currently, the British forces are armed with more than 400 Challenger 2 tanks.

As for the United States, the Pentagon definitely believes that the M1 Abrams have a tactical setting for the tactical situation that exceeds the capabilities of the Russian counterparts for the T-14. The US-based BFT system (Blue Force Tracking) allows you to track the deployment of friendly armored vehicles and personnel at stationary sites, as well as use interactive capabilities to predict the situation on the battlefield.

By the way, the panic of the NATO armies in front of the T-14 is not quite clear to the Russian Defense Ministry at the moment. Indeed, in 2018 only nine Armat were delivered to the troops. In general, 132 units should arrive in the foreseeable future.
