The degassing kit of the military DKV-1C is an engineering-technical mobile complex of chemical protection. It was created in the mid-50s in the framework of increasing the survivability of troops in the conditions of conducting military operations with the use of weapons of mass destruction. The technical equipment of the kit allowed fast and timely processing of a large number of military equipment and equipment in the conditions of use of nuclear, chemical and bacteriological weapons.
Design features
The main equipment of the kit is mounted and installed on the buzzer of a crawler tractor of high cross-country GTT. It was intended for decontamination, deactivation and disinfection of weapons, military equipment and other objects.
Transporter-tractor was developed at the Kharkov Tractor Plant. In subsequent years, until the mid-80s, the tracked base was produced at machine-building plants in Rubtsovsk and Semipalatinsk. The main equipment was mounted on the instrument-making enterprises of the Moscow region and the Southern Urals.

The decontamination kit of the military DKV-1C on the basis of the GTT tracked tractor was used by engineering and chemical troops at the Semipalatinsk nuclear test site and in the area of the most serious man-made disasters.
