According to the assurances of the Swedish company Saab, they presented the development of the world's most advanced submarine operating on the principle of "invisible". In this mode, the submarine A62 is almost impossible to track on the radar. The special type compartment allows special purpose divers to easily leave the submarine, as well as to return back, being under water.
Saab has signed a billion-dollar contract for the production of two such submarines for the Swedish military structures. The modernization of two submarines of the Gotland type is also carried out. Serial production of A26 is planned for 2022, and the final stage should end in 2024, according to the Daily Mail newspaper.
