The mobile robotic demining complex Uran-6 has received a new platform for transportation. The sapper will include a four-axle KAMAZ equipped with a special platform with a multi-lift system.
Recall, "Uranus-6" was created to reduce the risk to personnel when performing demining tasks. Its prototypes successfully passed all types of tests during exercises and combat operations in the Syrian Arab Republic, the Ground Forces Information Support Group reports.
A new multilift significantly reduces the time of preparation of the complex for work. Now Uran-6 will be nominally placed on a special platform that, using a hydraulic drive, descends from the chassis to the ground and back, spending no more than three minutes.
