About how Russians bombed Norway

Norwegian intelligence director Morten Haga Lunde accused Russia of simulating an air strike on the Norwegian reconnaissance radar "Globus II", which is located on the border of two countries - not far from the Kola Peninsula.

During his speech, the main Norwegian intelligence officer showed on the map how a group of 11 supersonic Su-24 front-line bombers take off from Monchegorsk airbase on the Kola Peninsula, follow the Barents Sea, and then turn 180 degrees in the direction of the attack on the fishing village of Vardø, where and there is a radar.

Officially, the radar monitors objects in space. It is also believed that he is able to monitor and create a database of signatures of Russian ballistic missiles.

Recall, a few days ago, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Maria Zakharova promised that Russia would take measures in connection with Norway’s plans for equipment in the North Atlantic - in the city of Troms - a port for receiving nuclear submarines.

However, in response to the accusations, the Kremlin declared that it did not know that Russia was allegedly involved in GPS malfunctioning at NATO exercises. This was announced by the press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov.

A spokesman for the Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, said that Norway could use the scandal around the work of GPS to divert attention from internal problems. She added that Western politicians had become accustomed to blaming Russia for any incidents, without giving evidence.
