Representatives of the special services, ensuring the security of our federal state, told the media about one new weapon technology that they have in service. Speech about the machine SHAK-12 (also known as ASH-12).
Its main feature is the caliber of 12.7x55 mm. The machine is designed specifically for melee - and very importantly, the rapid neutralization of the enemy.
After a series of terrorist attacks in the capital and other cities of our country, the heads of the federal security service thought about creating effective small arms melee.
According to experts, terrorists do not so rarely commit sabotage under the influence of narcotic substances, which greatly reduce the pain threshold. And sometimes a villain, even after receiving a mortal wound, can continue his actions. And in conditions, for example, the release of hostages - it is deadly, because the count goes on for seconds and innocent people can suffer. Or if an operation is underway to neutralize bandits in a densely populated area of the city ...
It is SHAK-12 that solves this problem perfectly. His cartridges weighing 33 grams neutralize the enemy from the first hit. And even under the condition that he hid behind a concrete wall. The effective range of a shot from this machine gun is 100 meters. This is done in order to minimize the so-called indirect damage. That is, practically, exclude falling into random people.
The new machine uses three types of bullets: armor-piercing, subsonic (for firing with a silencer) and aluminum (traumatic).
Each of these bullets knocks the enemy down. And then it’s up to the skill of the intelligence officer.
By the way, such a machine weighs quite decently: its weight is 5.2 kilograms. Plus, there is a modification of it with a barrel-mounted drum grenade launcher.
