Russian military will experience technologies that disable military satellites

Russian military structures are developing the latest electronic warfare system, which opens up the possibility of destabilizing military satellites. The program is implemented by the concern "Radioelectronic Technologies" - a division of the state corporation Rostec. Tests of technology in the conditions of the landfill should begin soon.

"The military will receive a unique development capable of disabling the system for aiming high-precision weapons and military satellites," reports the TAAS agency, referring to the words of the general director of the concern Yuri Maevsky.

"The system will be able to withstand enemy aircraft, tactical, long-range and strategic aircraft, a variety of electronic means, as well as military satellites," said Mayevsky. The director explained that it would be located not in outer space, but in air, land and sea areas.

System features

According to international agreements, it is prohibited to install such systems in outer space. Working together with air defense equipment, it will be able to fully block the communication channel, and with it the navigation and radar indicators. The system will also make it impossible to use precision weapons. Tests are already underway in the factory, and testing will begin soon at the test site.

Threats from space

It is noteworthy that an article was published on the information resource Defense One, which described the desire of the US military and other organizations of the United States of America to organize a center for ensuring the country's space security. It should be able to monitor possible threats from outer space and analyze them.

The main potential opponents are Russia and China. The hidden war for supremacy in outer space has been going on for a long time. Not so long ago, documents and photographs about the program launched under President Nixon were declassified, where they tried to create an orbital station to monitor the USSR.
