“NPO Mashinostroenia” has started the production of the Avangard hypersonic missile complex using the serial method. The first party will soon go to the Armed Forces of Russia.
According to the leadership of the Strategic Missile Forces of the Russian Federation, the new complex will significantly increase the combat capabilities of the Russian missile forces. And above all, to overcome the enemy's missile defense and defeat its important objects.
Recall, Russian President Vladimir Putin, speaking before the Federal Assembly on March 1 of the outgoing year, said that the Avangard system had been created in the Russian Federation, capable of flying in dense layers of the atmosphere at an intercontinental distance and at a hypersonic speed exceeding Mach number by more than 20 times .
