According to the publication, in Russia under the gun is about 3.5 million citizens of both sexes - mostly, of course, masculine. More than 20,000 tanks and about 4,000 aircraft are in service with the Russian army. As for the financing of the armed forces, the defense budget of our country is in the range of 47 billion dollars.
As noted in the publication, the rating was based on three important factors: the number of weapons and equipment, the number of military personnel and the level of socio-economic development of the state.
By the way, the second place in the ranking was taken by the French army with 40 billion defense budget. It serves 388,600 people. It is armed with 406 tanks and 1,200 aircraft.
Third place - in the United Kingdom. The budget of the British army is 50 billion dollars, the number of troops - 279,000 people. As for technology, there are 832 aircraft and 227 tanks.
It is noteworthy that the tenth place of the strongest armies in Europe belongs to Ukraine. Characteristics of its armed forces are as follows: the budget - 4.88 billion dollars, the number of servicemen - 1.1 million, tanks - 2,200, aircraft - 240.
